Good Reading

  • Rachel Remen M.D.: My Grandfather's Blessings
Another incredibly powerful moving book. Easy to read but long lasting. It will move your heart.
  • Rachel Remen M.D.: Kitchen Table Wisdom
One of the most beautiful, powerful books I have ever read. There are lots of little stories but wonderful messages. It's not preachy or corny, just moving.

WOW! This is a post I am going to have reread. It moved me so deeply. It moved me to tears. I felt accepted, seen and embraced. I cried. These words I share with several people who so desperately need to hear this. It will give them courage and fortitude to keep going. Thank for sharing such wonderful hope.

From Lou Reed's "What's Good"

..What good is seeing eye chocolate
what good's a computerized nose
And what good was cancer in April
why no good - no good at all

What good's a war without killing
what good is rain that falls up
What good's a disease that won't hurt you
why no good, I guess, no good at all

What good are these thoughts that I'm thinking
It must be better not to be thinking at all
A styrofoam lover with emotions of concrete
no not much, not much at all

What's good is life without living
what good's this lion that barks
You loved a life others throw away nightly
it's not fair, not fair at all.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for your comments at my blog. I went to your site www.mystresscoach.com and to the multi-media links there. Great job! Love what you've done.

I'll be popping some of your videos in my ezine for my readers and letting them know about your site.

By the way, "Embracing The Mystery" originates from Simple Truths Copyright © 1996 by Kent Nerburn.

"Kent Nerburn is the highly acclaimed author of eight books on spiritual values and Native American themes. He received his B.A. in American Studies summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota and his Ph.D. in Theology and Art with distinction from Graduate Theological Union in conjunction with the University of California at Berkeley. His most recent work, The Hidden Beauty of Everyday Life, joins Simple Truths and Small Graces as the conclusion of a trilogy filled with spiritual and inspirational stories."

I know all that because I dug around Google till I found "who dun it" and because I wanted to quote it in my ezine next month, plus place it on one of my blogs too.

Thank you again for the brilliant work you do and the fun you share.

Cheers, Thea

Tamera

This said it all, and the entire truth. Thank you for sharing this!
