Scott Sheperd Ph.D

I always like to give my academic background just because it is so strange. I have a B.A. in Music, a Masters in Mass Communication and a Masters and Ph.D in Counseling. (Talk about having no direction in your life.) I have been involved for over thirty years in working with people in difficult situations from high pressure jobs to terminal illnesses to losing a loved one. I have had six books published including; "Who's In Charge? Attacking the Stress Myth," "Choosing the Gift - dealing with the loss of a loved one," "I Will Live Today - affirmations for people with serious illness or injuries," "What do you think of you?" a book on self-esteem for children. I have also written a Musical called "The Journey" which was produced on stage. I am a jazz piano player and have two daughters who are in Musical Theater and are incredible to work with.
